Another English-language iBook introduction comes from Dan Parks Sydow "The Ultimate iBook Book" (ISBN 096670261-1, 400 pages). It provides little, easily understandable information about the technology of the iBook and essentially offers an introduction to OS9.
The chapters on airport configuration and network integration as well as the connection of USB devices are well done. This book can also occasionally be found cheaply on Ebay or Amazon.

Todd Stauffer is one of the most successful American authors on Mac-related topics. The 636-page English-language tome "How to Do Everything with Your iBook" (ISBN 0-07-212419-9) leaves hardly any questions unanswered when it comes to successfully configuring and using the iBook in conjunction with OS9.
There is a 150-page introduction to the Appleworks program package alone, and a troubleshooting guide helps with problems that arise. The book is occasionally offered on Ebay or Amazon .

The iBook for Dummies by David Pogue (1st edition, 2001) is still available used on ebay or other platforms. Later editions focus more on the white iBook series.
If you are looking for information about the technology of the clamshell iBook, you will be disappointed. Above all, the book provides an easy-to-understand introduction for beginners to Mac OS9 and its possibilities. However, this works well. There are a number of beautiful cartoons by Rich Tennant from the 5th wave series.
